VARIMED DOUBLE LAYER SYSTEM is a new kit of elastic compression stockings, which allows the creation of a multilayer compression system, providing an active solution 24 hours a day for the phlebopathic patient.
To the therapeutic advantage of multilayer compression, there is the possibility of clarity and uniformity of behavior for all the actors involved, from the prescriber to the patient; in fact, the compression exerted by the double elastic-compressive layer is exclusively linked to the correct determination of the patient's size and is no longer operator-dependent, as in the bandage.
Last but not least, the costs of frequent bandages are reduced by the single cost of the kit itself.
The scrupulous search for the anatomically optimal shape and the distribution of the measures also make the product pleasant to wear and allow for good patient compliance.

VARIMED DOUBLE LAYER SYSTEM 1 + 2

The Varimed Double Layer System 1 + 2 is available in the combination:

• knee-high model (AD),
• one-legged model right (AGD) or left (AGS),
• thigh-high stocking model (AG),
• tights model (AT)

COMBINATION WITH KNEE-HIGHS (AD)

• N ° 2 pieces of II KL cotton sock, in the knee-high model
• N ° 2 pieces antithrombus sock in the knee-high model
• 1 piece of Varislide® Long Ready-Up Introducer
• N ° 2 pieces of dressing-saving sock, in the knee-high model

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS

The indications of the Double Layer System 1 + 2 are linked to the times immediately following the surgical act, as well as to the therapy of chronic venous insufficiency. In particular, the kit is useful in cases of:

• sclerosing treatment of the saphenous vein with mousse
• surgical treatment (stripping) of the saphenous vein
• treatment of phlebostatic ulcer, immediately after the exudative phase
• treatment of deep vein thrombosis
• treatment of chronic decompensated venous insufficiency with phlebolymphedema
• lymphedema treatment, phlebolymphedema, in particular after lymphatic drainage
