Indications

10 - 15 mmHg
Prevention of edema from prolonged standing.

15 - 20 mmHg
Mild symptoms of functional venous insufficiency, varices, ectasias.
Prevention during and after pregnancy.

Contraindications

Acute dermal hypodermatitis, skin infections, peripheral arterial disease, known contact allergy to elastic braces.

Duration of treatment

Compression treatment with VARISAN® medical compression stockings must usually be carried out only during the day. The stocking should be put on in the morning, if possible before getting up and taken off in the evening before going to bed. In fact, during rest the transmitted compression could be excessive. For short afternoon rests it is not necessary to remove the sock.
It is recommended to walk as much as possible during the day.

Validity
