Indicated for the compression therapy of the lower limbs affected by venous ulcer , it offers greater comfort and wearability than traditional bandages thanks to the presence of the side zip.

The kit consists of a knee-high with zip and 2 under-socks (in synthetic for class I and II, in cotton for class III).

The thin and soft cotton under-sock guarantees wound protection, facilitates the fixing of dressings and the wearing of the sock.

Indications

CLASS I (18 - 21 mmHg)
Varices, initial venous edema, reticular veins. prevention and treatment of initial ulcers.

CLASS II (23 - 32 mmHg)
Superficial vein thrombosis, acute deep vein thrombosis, lymphedema, prevention of post-thrombotic syndrome. Skin ulcer treatment.

III CLASS (34 - 46 mmHg)
Ulcus cruris venosum treatment.

Contraindications

Acute dermal hypodermatitis, skin infections, peripheral arterial disease, known contact allergy to elastic braces.

Duration of treatment

Compression treatment with VARISAN® medical compression stockings must usually be carried out only during the day. The sock should be worn in the morning, if possible before getting up and taken off in the evening before going to bed.During rest, in fact, the transmitted compression could be excessive. For short afternoon rests it is not necessary to remove the sock. It is recommended to walk as much as possible during the day.

Validity
