Coronavirus 2 Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Antigen Detection Kit (SARS-CoV-2)
(based on colloidal gold)
Description
Rapid antigen test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in a nasal swab.
The Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Antigen Self-Test Kit adopts the double antibody sandwich method for qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigens in human nasal swab specimens.
Nasal swab specimens can be self-collected from individuals over 15 years of age. Individuals 2 to 15 years of age must be sampled and tested by an adult (≥18 years of age). The kit is not suitable for children under 2 years of age.
The self-test can be performed at any time, whether you have symptoms or at least.
The kit is designed for self-diagnosis and can be used as an auxiliary tool for diagnosing current COVID-19 infection.
How to use
Preparation
Remove secretions from the surface of the anterior nasal cavity before collecting the specimen.
To wash hands. Make sure they are dry before testing.
Read the instructions carefully before performing the test.
Check the expiration date printed on the foil pouch of the cassette.
Open the foil pouch and take out the test cassette. After opening the package, the test contents should be used within 1 hour to ensure the reliability of the result.
Test procedure
Open the package containing the swab and extract it; do not touch the cotton tip of the swab.
The tip of the swab should be inserted into the nasal cavity to a depth of approximately 3-4 cm, until resistance is felt. Do not try to insert the swab deeper if you feel severe resistance or pain. Rotate the swab along the inner wall of the nostril 5 times. Using the same swab, repeat the process in the other nostril as well, making sure to take a sufficient sample from both nostrils. Remove the swab from the nostril.
Remove the white cap from the elution tube. Insert the swab into the tube (dip the tip of the swab into the eluent and make sure that the sample is released into the eluent by rubbing and swirling the swab up and down for at least 10 times. Squeeze the tube and swab to allow the sample to be fully released into the eluent. eluent Discard the buffer.
Place the dropper tip on the tube and seal it tightly. Mix the sample by gently inverting the tube, squeeze the tube to dispense 4 drops (approximately 80 mcL) into the sample well in the test cassette and start the timer Attention: Too high or insufficient sample volume may lead to inaccurate or invalid test results .
Read the results after 10 minutes. The result is invalid after 15 minutes.
Place the swab, tube and test cassette in the disposal bag after use.
Interpretation of results
Negative: If only a red line appears in the quality control area (line C) in the result window, this may mean that the test is negative or that the viral load is too low to be detected. Continue to comply with all applicable rules regarding contact with others and protective measures. An infection may be present even if the test is negative. If suspected, repeat the test after 1-2 days, as the coronavirus cannot be accurately detected at all stages of infection. Avoid using the results to rule out SARS-CoV-2 infection for accreditation purposes
