What is Melatonin Dispert used for?

Melatonin DISPERT is indicated for all those who suffer from alterations in the sleep-wake rhythm, due to various reasons such as:

• Time zone changes (jet lag)
• Work stress due to irregular hours, shift work
• Advancing age (phase of life in which the body's production of melatonin decreases physiologically)

Dosage

The recommended dosage is 1 tablet a day containing 1 mg of melatonin, 36 mg of niacin (vitamin B3) and 9.5 mg of vitamin B6 , a quarter of an hour before going to bed, preferably at the same time. In fact, the beneficial effect is obtained by taking 1 mg of melatonin before going to bed.

Warnings and Contraindications

the advice is not to exceed the recommended doses, furthermore do not use Melatonin DISPERT® in case of hypersensitivity to one of the components. We do not recommend the use of Melatonin DISPERT for children under the age of 3, for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding and for women who are planning to become pregnant. Melatonin DISPERT® is a food supplement, therefore like all food supplements they are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
