Vendep Logus Pharma - Food Supplement

VENDEP® capsules is a food supplement based on plant extracts and vitamins. Horse Chestnut, Sweet Clover, Ginkgo and Centella are useful for the functionality of the microcirculation. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels.

Properties of the ingredients

Bioflavonoid complex Diosmin / Diosmetina

Diosmin is a flavonoid commonly found in citrus fruits1, widely used as an adjunct in the treatment of circulatory disorders, including chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), haemorrhoidal disease, lymphedema and varicose veins2,3. Following oral administration, Diosmin is not absorbed directly, but must first be "transformed" into Diosmetine, which is readily absorbed in the intestine, entering the systemic circulation4,5.
Inside Vendep® Capsule there is a complex that contains both Diosmin and Diosmetina.
In this way, the immediate absorption of Diosmetina and the later absorption of Diosmin (after conversion into Diosmetina), guarantees maximum efficacy throughout the day.

Horse chestnut escin

Escin, one of the main functional active ingredients extracted from horse chestnut, exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-edema and vasotonic properties. Several scientific evidences, in fact, describe its use in the management of different forms of venous stasis (varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, haemorrhoidal pathology) and also in the management of post-operative edema6.

Sweet clover

It has lymphokinetic properties, favoring the drainage of excess fluids and reabsorbing edema. In addition to improving lymphatic circulation, several studies show that Sweet Clover is able to counteract the permeability of the vessel wall, improving venous return, and also to exert an anti-inflammatory action7.

Bromelain

It is a blend of proteolytic enzymes extracted from the pineapple stem. In vitro and in vivo studies describe a marked anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-edema activity, useful in the treatment of all inflammatory and edematous conditions, even of a traumatic nature (falls, sprains, bruises, tears and strains).

Centella

In addition to the well-known antioxidant power, it promotes the correct functionality of the microcirculation.

Ginkgo

Antioxidant, it exhibits phlebotonic properties, counteracting capillary permeability and increasing the tone and resistance of the venous walls.

Vitamin C and Vitamin E

Vitamin C contributes to the formation of collagen for the normal function of blood vessels. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

When to use Vendep® Capsule?

Vendep® Capsule is indicated in all cases of impaired circulation accompanied by edema and inflammation, especially affecting the lower limbs. It is therefore useful, as an adjuvant, in the presence of:

• Chronic venous insufficiency.
• Lymphedema.
• Traumatic and post-surgical edema.
• Also excellent for the management of haemorrhoidal pathology.

What is the recommended dosage?

We recommend taking 1- 2 Vendep® capsules a day, away from meals.

During the warm season, we recommend:

2 Vendep® capsules a day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, away from meals, for the first month. Followed by 1 capsule a day, away from meals, for another 2 months or until hot season ends.

For the management of haemorrhoidal disease we recommend:

Shock therapy: 6 Vendep® capsules per day, for 5 days. Divide the doses into 3 times (of 2 capsules each) throughout the day. Take the product between meals.

Maintenance: 2 Vendep® capsules for another 15 days, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, away from meals.

Warnings

If you are taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs, consult your doctor before taking the product.
