SARS-CoV-2 Ag Rapid Test

For professional use

Description
Test for rapid and qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen in human nasal or pharyngeal swabs or nasopharyngeal swabs.
The Verino Pro SARS-CoV-2 Ag rapid test is based on immunochromatography technology. Each test has one anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody line on the detection line (T line) and one anti-mouse IgG antibody line on the quality control line (C line).
When the extracted sample is added to the sample well, it will react with the labeled antibody to form a complex, the mixture then migrates through the membrane by capillary action and interacts with the anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody coated on the detection line.
If the sample contains SARS-CoV-2 antigen, the detection line will appear red, indicating that the SARS-CoV-2 antigen is positive.
Otherwise, the test result will be negative.
The test also contains a quality control line C which should appear red for all valid tests. If the quality control line C is not displayed, the test result will be invalid even if the detection line is displayed.
The test is for in vitro diagnostic use only. For professional use only.
It is intended for clinical laboratories and professional healthcare use for testpoint of care only.
The product provides only a preliminary result of the screening test. More specific alternative diagnostic methods (molecular diagnostics and / oTC) should be proposed to confirm SARS-CoV-2 infection. Not for home use.

How to use
Collection of samples
Nasal swab: It is important to get as much secretion as possible Insert the sterile swab into one nostril. The tip of the swab should be inserted up to 2.5 cm (1 inch) from the edge of the nostril. Rotate the swab 5 times along the mucosa within the nostril to ensure both mucus and cells are collected Repeat this process for the other nostril to ensure that adequate sample is collected from both nasal passages (use the same swab).

Oropharyngeal swab: It is important to obtain as much secretion as possible Insert the sterile swab into the throat area that has the most secretion from the red area of the throat wall and maxillary tonsils to collect the throat swab sample. Moderately rub the tonsils and throat wall to obtain the sample. Please do not touch your tongue when removing the swab.

Nasopharyngeal swab: It is important to get as much secretion as possible. Insert the sterile swab into the nostril that has the most secretion based on a visual inspection. Hold the swab near the base of the nasal septum as you gently push the swab into the posterior nasopharynx. Rotate the swab 5 times, then remove it from the nasopharynx.

Freshly collected samples should be tested as soon as possible. It is essential to follow the correct collection and preparation methods.

Test procedure
Allow the test devices and extraction solution to reach a uniform temperature, in the range of 15-30 ° C, before performing the test.
Open the extraction solution (in the sealed tube). Insert the collected swab into the tube filled with the extraction solution. Rotate the swab 5 times while pressing the head against the bottom and side of the tube. Remove the swab by squeezing the sides of the tube at the same time to draw the liquid out of the swab. Try to get as much liquid out p
