How to use

Open the package when ready to use. ThermaCare can take up to 30 minutes to reach its therapeutic temperature. Remove the protective paper to reveal the adhesive side Place the adhesive side on the painful area and firmly press the adhesive side onto the skin. Be careful when applying not to overlap the cells. Do not use on the face, head, breasts, inner arm, armpits, fingers, lower abdomen, groin, inner knee, feet or toes. Above 55 years of age, wear Thermacare over a thin piece of clothing (or fabric), not in direct contact with the skin. For maximum effectiveness, wear ThermaCare for 8 hours.
The product can be thrown hot or cold with normal household waste.

Warnings

Do not use in case of:
• if the contents of the cells are leaking and / or the band is damaged;
• with medicated creams or ointments, patches or other sources of heat;
• on scratched or bruised skin;
• on bruises and swellings that have appeared in the last 48 hours;
• on areas of the body that are insensitive to heat;
• by people who are unable to follow all instructions for use or who are unable to remove the product on their own, including children and the elderly who are not self-sufficient;
• do not use on the face, head, breasts, inner arm, armpits, fingers, lower abdomen, groin, inner knee, feet or toes.

Seek the advice of your doctor before use in cases of diabetes, circulation problems, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis and pregnancy.
This product can cause burns. To reduce the risk:
• Periodically check the skin to check for any signs of irritation or burns and, if found, immediately discontinue use.
• If you feel excessive heat, discontinue use or wear ThermaCare over clothing, not in direct contact with the skin.
• Above 55 years of age, the risk of sunburn increases with age, wear ThermaCare over a piece of clothing and do not use the headband when sleeping.
• To avoid an increased risk of burns, remove the product before undergoing MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examinations.
• Do not use for more than 8 hours in any 24 hour period.
• Do not exert excessive pressure on the worn product such as leaning against hard surfaces, or wear it under tight clothing or belts.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if you notice discomfort, irritation, burning, swelling, redness or any other persistent skin change in the area where the product was worn, or if the pain increases or remains unchanged after 7 days.
