Viadol
NATURALFood supplement adjuvant in all painful pathologies of the osteoarticular apparatus and tendon muscle.
Devil's claw
The secondary roots are used for their anti-inflammatory, analgesic and spasmodic activity due to the presence of iridoid glycosides such as procumbide, harpagoside, as well as flavones and phytosterols. The mechanism of action involves the prostaglandin and leukotrene system. However it is of scarce gastric tolerability if taken in large quantities.
Glucosamine sulfate
It is the nutritherapeutic treatment for osteoarthritis. In fact, glucosamine is an essential ingredient for cartilage and helps reverse osteoarticular degeneration.
Chondroitin sulfate
It is a molecule of complex sugars such as glycoaminoglycans and is the other constituent of cartilages. The synergy of action of glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate is proven by various therapeutic studies showing that the use of the two components in combination means that the action is enhanced and the amount of administration decreases compared to a single administration of one of the two components. In addition to regenerating cartilage, Chondroitin sulfate also has an anti-inflammatory action and has shown in various studies on its effectiveness also a fair action against gout, contributing to the reduction of uric acid production. It is very effective in osteoarthritis of the hips and knees.
Willow
The bark of the plant is used, which contains tannins, bitter alkaloids and phenolic glucosides such as salicin which, after hydrolysis in the body, transforms into salicylic acid, with an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic action, with few side effects on the digestive system.
Boswellia
The resin of the plant is rich in triterpenes soaps that release boswellic acids which have been recognized as having a high anti-inflammatory activity, especially for rheumatoid arthritis. It has been shown that iboswellic acids inhibit the activity of 5-lipoxygenase, that is the enzyme responsible for the synthesis of leukotrienes, important chemical mediators in joint inflammation, and have no ulcerative effects.
Ash tree
The leaves and the bark are rich in tannins, polyphenols, coumarins, glycosidiiridoidi as well as ash, fratina, etc. Its action is mainly expressed as an antirheumatic, but also as a diuretic.
