Description
Spirulina is a blue-green microalgae that lives in salt lakes with alkaline water. It is considered a 'superfood' for its numerous therapeutic and nutritional properties thanks to its content of proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, beta-carotene, chlorophyll and fiber.
Spirulina contains all the B vitamins and vitamins A, D and K, essential fatty acids (omega 3 and omega 6) and mineral salts such as iron, manganese, calcium, iodine, magnesium and potassium. It stimulates the immune system thanks to the presence of bioactive compounds, it is also useful for its supporting action and as a restorative of the organism.
