The elder is a shrub or small tree frequent in the woods, fresh woods and hedges from the sea to the submontane area and are frequently found in South Tyrol near the houses of the farms. The flowers are fragrant, small and yellowish-white in color. They are harvested in May - June and are widely used in domestic herbal practice. In addition to its beneficial properties, the infusion is also an excellent drink with a very pleasant taste.
