Description
Kit for the in vitro qualitative determination of SARS-CoV-2 antigen.
It is used in home tests. Basically, it cannot be used in pneumonia caused by a new coronavirus infection. A positive test result should also be confirmed.
Test results are intended to provide clinical reference only.
Lateral flow immunoassay for the detection of novel coronavirus antigens (SARS-CoV-2) in nasal swab specimens. During detection, the anti-SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody with colloidal gold present on the labeling mat binds to the SARS-CoV-2 antigen of the sample to create a complex and this complex moves forward along the nitrocellulose membrane. Chromatography is detected by the anti-SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody and a red reaction line is formed on the detection area (T) of the membrane, coated with the antibody of the new coronavirus.
If antigen is not present, the reaction line will not form in the detection area.
Regardless of whether or not the SARS-CoV-2 antigen is present in the test sample, a red reaction line will always form on the quality control line (C).

How to use
Before starting the test, carefully read the user manual and follow the steps indicated.
The swab should be gently inserted into the nostril to a depth of approximately 2.5 cm. Gently roll the swab 5-7 times into the nasal cavity for about 15 seconds. With the same swab, repeat the procedure also in the other artery.
Insert the swab into the tube containing the extraction solution. Break the swab in the rupture line and close the tube with the swab dipped in the solution. Shake the tube for at least 15 seconds.
Dispose of the used swab in the manner provided for sanitary waste by placing it inside the appropriate bag.
If the test cassette has not been stored at room temperature (10-30 ° C), leave it at room temperature for 15-30 minutes before continuing with the test.
Place 2 drops of the treated sample in the sample well of the test cassette. The sample / conjugate complex migrates along the nitrocellulose membrane.
Read the result after 15 minutes. Results displayed in the Test Cassette after 30 minutes are invalid.
At the end of the test, all materials must be disposed of in the manner provided for biological waste.
Wash and disinfect your hands again.

Interpretation of results :
Positive result: If two red colored lines appear in detection zone T and control zone C within 15 minutes, the result is positive and valid.
Samples with target antibodies at very low levels in 15 minutes can produce two-color lines.

Negative result: If no colored line (red or magenta) appears in the T zone and a colored line appears in the C zone, the result is negative and valid.

Invalid Result: If a colored line does not appear in zone C the test result is invalid. The procedure for collecting the sample and performing the test is repeated.

Warnings
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Respect the rules and precautions relating to sampling, use, storage and disposal of the product and materials.
Do not reuse used materials.
Remove the Test Cassette from the package immediately before use.
