Vita DK2 is an innovative combination of vitamin D3 and vitamin K2, indicated for maintaining a healthy bone.

While vitamin K1 modulates blood clotting factors, K2 stimulates and regulates the synthesis activity of the bone matrix. Vitamin K2 or menaquinone, less available in food sources, is essential for building and maintaining strong and healthy bones and for preventing calcification in the arteries.

Some scientific studies confirm its therapeutic potential in the cardiovascular field, in particular in reducing the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Vitamin D, known for its main anti-rachitic and mineralizing activity on the bone system, is now particularly reconsidered for its immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory functions.

For this reason, it is used in various autoimmune pathologies and disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, heart disease, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis.

When we talk about vitamin D, we normally refer to D2 and D3.

As with vitamin K2, recent studies seem to confirm that the majority of the population does not get adequate amounts of vitamin D either through their diet or through exposure to the sun.

In fact, there are very few food sources of vitamin D (eg cod liver oil, eggs from hens fed with vitamin D) and the greatest quantity is assimilated thanks to enriched foods.

Another important field of application of vitamin D is sport, where it begins to be used for the prevention of microtraumas and the integrity of the muscle fiber over which it would effectively protect.

Indications

Vita DK2 is indicated for different categories of people whose real need for vitamin D3 and K2 is increased: growing boys, elderly people, postmenopausal women. It can be used in cardiovascular protection and to modulate the immune defenses. It is also indicated for the prevention and recovery of muscle trauma.

Take 1 tablet per day.
