Standardized extract of Vitex Agnus Castus

The starting drug is the ripe fruit. The extract is characterized by flavonoids such as casticin, iso-orientin, vitexin and isovitexin and iridoid glycosides such as aucubin and agnos ide. The extract acts at the level of the anterior lobe of the pituitary causing an overall mild antiestrogenic effect.

Main activities: reduces the secretion of prolactin, stimulates the production of luteinizing hormone and reduces the release of the phallic stimulating hormone.

Therapeutic use: premenstrual syndrome and mastodinie.

How to use (for premenstrual syndrome ): one capsule a day in the 10 days before menstruation. Continuous use of the product is recommended for at least six months with breaks not exceeding two months. It is also advisable to take the product every day during the first month, to obtain a benefit in a short time.

How to use (for mastodinias ): one capsule a day for at least two months.
