Vulnamin PWD is indicated for the treatment of skin ulcers of various origins, with slow healing, with medium or heavy exudate, both purified and colonized, both flat and cavity. The product is not recommended for eschars. Do not use if the wound is infected. In colonized lesions, it is effective when combined with a secondary antibacterial dressing.

How to use

It favors the production of granulation tissue and therefore an acceleration of the reparative processes. It assists the process of reintegration of the cells that form collagen with consequent reconstruction of the connective tissue. It favors the elimination of necrotic tissues, protects the integrity of the skin.
Before making any dressing, you need to wash your hands well. Remove any foreign material with physiological solution. You can swab the wound with sterile gauze to remove any excess blood.
Wash and cleanse the wound. Sprinkle the powder of a stick pack on the wound bed. Use secondary dressings capable of absorbing exudate and avoiding phenomena of maceration. In case of particularly extensive lesions, it is possible to use more stick packs in order to cover the affected surface. The frequency of dressing varies between 2 and 3 per week.
