The product consists of a pen needle, which can be attached with a protective seal, a protective needle cap and an external protective cap. The outer cap serves to maintain needle sterility as this protects both the needle and the inner cap.
The needle can be connected to the pen, which can be protected from physical damage thanks to the inner protective cap cover. Also included is a non-toxic and non-pyrogenic fluid and sterile path. The device works on the common principle of piston syringes.
The device is indicated for subcutaneous injections of insulin for the treatment of diabetes.
Sterilized product with Ethylene Oxide.
