ICARO is a food supplement useful in case you want to intervene for the maintenance of normal levels of cholesterol in the blood. ICARO is based on fermented red rice, proanthocyanidins, policosanols, vitamins, coenzyme Q10, chromium and black pepper extract; it also contains vitamins, Biotin and Chromium.

Fermented red rice is a source of Monacolin K, a molecule similar in structure to some statins, the use of which in quantities of 10 mg per day has a beneficial effect on maintaining normal cholesterol levels.
Thiamine contributes to normal heart function.
Vitamins C and E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Folic acid and Vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine.
Biotin and Chromium contribute to the normal metabolism of macronutrients.

It is available in packs of 30 tablets of 650 mg (treatment for 1 month) and is distributed in pharmacies by the major Italian wholesalers of medicines and by numerous local wholesalers.

How to use
Take 1 tablet per day.

Warnings
Not to be used during pregnancy, lactation and in case of therapy with lipid-lowering drugs. For children it is recommended to seek medical advice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
