Xailin Night Nicox Lubricating Ophthalmic Ointment

Sterile, multidose, preservative-free, white, translucent, translucent, sterile lubricating ophthalmic ointment, free from foreign material, for nocturnal relief from the sensation of dry eyes. It offers strong nighttime calming relief from dry eye sensation, as it acts as a barrier against moisture loss. Ideal before bedtime. Lubricating ophthalmic ointment that offers relief from dry eye symptoms such as pain, irritation or a gritty sensation. Dry eye symptoms occur as a result of ocular surface disorders which can be caused by a number of different reasons, where normal tears are of poor quality or produced in too little quantity to keep the eye sufficiently moist. There is no age limit for using Xailin Night lubricating ophthalmic ointment and it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

How to use

Apply a thin strip of ointment about 1 cm to each eye as often as needed, as follows:
Before opening a new package of Xailin Night lubricating ophthalmic ointment, make sure that the safety ring on the tube cap is not broken.

Turn the cap counterclockwise to break the seal

Wash and dry your hands well before use

Remove the outer cap

If you have contact lenses, remove your lenses

Tilt your head back and look up

Gently pull the lower lid of the eye down to form a small pocket between the lid and the eye

Hold the tube between the thumb and middle finger of the other hand, turn the tube upside down towards the eye and try not to touch the eye with the applicator

Apply enough pressure to the tube to release a 1cm thin strip of ointment, or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or optician

Close and reopen the eye a couple of times

If you have not centered your eye, insert another strip of ointment

Thoroughly wipe off any excess Xailin Night around the eyelid with a tissue

Repeat for the other eye if necessary

Put the outer cap back on the container, trying not to touch the applicator tip with any foreign body, including the eye or fingers

Leave at least 30 minutes between each administration of other ophthalmic drugs
