Xailin Wash what it is for
Xailin Wash is a Class I medical device. This is indicated for eye washing in case of treatment of superficial irritation of the eyelids and the eyeball: the eye wash facilitates the removal of foreign bodies that irritate the eye, such as sand, gnats, dust, pollen, remnants of make-up and allows you to relieve the feeling of discomfort.
Eye wash in case of adjuvant treatment to an infectious, allergic or inflammatory pathology of the eyelids, conjunctivae and cornea. Daily and post-operative eye hygiene (adults and children). Helps moisturize the eye.
Ingredients contained in Xailin Wash
Sodium chloride; boric acid; sodium borate; rose water; purified water qsp 5ml.
How to use Xailin Wash
It is recommended to proceed with 2 to 8 washes per day.
Before proceeding there are some precautions that must be verified,
- Check carefully that the vial is not already used or that it is not damaged.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before washing.
- Then detach a single-dose vial from its crown and open it by rotating its upper part.
- Washing is done with a direct spray by pressing lightly on the vial.
- It is advisable to pull the lower eyelid down, looking up, and then the upper eyelid up, looking down, in order to distribute the solution well over the entire ocular surface in order to remove the foreign body that irritates the eye, increase the volume of the tear film and moisturize the tissues.
- It is advisable to wait 10 minutes between one ocular instillation and the next, and to always start with washing with the XailinWash solution unless otherwise indicated by the doctor.
Sterilization of Xailin Wash
Sterilized with the use of aseptic sterilization techniques, so the product is safe.
Warnings before using Xailin Wash
Do not inject, do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. If contact lenses are used, the product can be used after removing the lenses before washing the eye. A single-dose vial can be used to treat both eyes. Avoid touching the eye or eyelids with the tip of the vial. The effectiveness of eye drops or ophthalmic ointment can be compromised by the simultaneous instillation of the eye wash solution. If irritation develops, persists or worsens, or if you experience excessive tearing or blurred vision, discontinue use of the solution and consult a physician quickly.
Proper storage of Xailin Wash
Do not exceed the expiration date. Discard the vial immediately after use. Do not reuse a vial that has already been opened. This medical device does not contain preservatives, therefore in case of reuse there is a risk of administering a contaminated solution. Before opening, store the single-dose vials at room temperature.
