XanOFTAL GREEN Erba Vita Eye Drops

Distilled waters of Chamomile, Witch Hazel and Euphrasia, with soothing properties, are the basis of these eye drops, indicated to relieve irritation and redness of the ocular mucosa.

The product also contains sodium chloride salt and a set of other salts (such as monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate and disodium phosphate dihydrate salts), substances with anti-inflammatory and vaso-constricting actions. The particular composition of Xanoftal GREEN eye drops offers great compatibility and affinity with the eye tissue, with tear fluid and also with contact lenses.

In a multipurpose bottle, it is made with a sterile, preservative-free solution. After first opening, the contents of the bottle can be reused within 3 months. An innovative technology allows the solution flow only at the exit; the presence of a sterilizing filter filters the incoming air after use. In this way bacterial contamination is avoided and a duration of three months is allowed from the first opening of the product.

When to use it

Eye drops are indicated for the relief of dry eye caused by: • atmospheric agents and environmental factors (air conditioning, excessive solar radiation, wind, smoke, pollution, salt, sea water, swimming pool water); • excessive fatigue due to long hours of computer work, reading and studying; • mild dry eye syndrome; • wearing contact lenses for many hours a day.

How to use it

• Wash your hands thoroughly
• Remove the seal before administration
• Open the bottle by removing the protective cap.
• Turn the bottle upside down and apply gentle pressure to instill a drop or two in each eye.
• To favor the gradual and progressive emptying of the bottle over time (which has a specific dispenser for preservative-free solutions) it may be necessary to exert a greater pressure, to allow adequate release of the product.
• After instillation, immediately close the bottle with the cap provided.
• After first opening, the contents of the bottle can be reused within 3 months.
• It is suitable for frequent use. Unless otherwise indicated by the doctor, the product can also be used several times a day (3 or 4 times or more often if necessary).

Composition

Distilled water of Chamomile, distilled water of Witch hazel, distilled water of Euphrasia, monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, PPI water (for injections).

Warnings

The product is for single patient use. • The product is for external ophthalmic use only. • Do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly closed when it is first opened. • During application, do not touch the eye or other surfaces with the dispensing tip. • Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. • In case of discomfort during treatment, discontinue use and consult a doctor. • Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package and on the label. • Properly dispose of the container after use. • Keep out of reach of children.
