Indications

Constipation, irritable colon, colitis, diverticulosis, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, gastritis, peptic ulcer.

Dosage

It is recommended to take 1-2 sachets a day, between meals, in cycles of 2-3 weeks interspersed with 1 week of rest. Pour the contents of one Xeferil sachet into a glass, add water, mix well and drink immediately. The formation of a gel is a characteristic of the product itself. It is advisable, during the day, to take adequate quantities of water.

PSYLLIUM AND INULIN

• They facilitate the physiological elimination of faeces by increasing their volume and weight. The main characteristic of these components is linked to the ability to recall liquids in the intestinal lumen, increasing its content and consequently stimulating peristalsis and evacuation.
• Prebiotic effect
• They favor the growth of acidophilic bacterial flora (eubiotics) thus facilitating digestion and reducing the production of intestinal gas.
• They increase the sense of satiety
• Thanks to the ability to increase volume in contact with water, if taken one hour before meals, they promote the sense of satiety and are useful in the presence of overweight, obesity and compulsive hunger.
• They reduce the absorption of sugars and fats
• The formation of a gelatinous film reduces the absorption of sugars and fats in the intestine.

ALOE VERA

The aloin contained in the latex obtained from the peel gives Aloe Vera the laxative activity. At low doses it acts as a tonic for the digestive system, giving tone to the intestinal muscles. Aloe Vera also has a detoxifying action in the gastrointestinal tract. This activity is linked to polysaccharides, capable of binding and eliminating, thanks to the viscous consistency, the toxic substances produced in the metabolic processes, reducing the contact time of the waste with the mucous membranes.

VALERIAN

The content in terpenes and flavonoids gives Valerian the spasmolytic action on smooth muscles, useful in case of abdominal cramps and irritable bowel syndrome. Its analgesic action is instead due to the ability to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins.
