XP Maxamum is a phenylalanine-free powdered food with essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Orange flavor with sugar and sweeteners.

Indications

XP Maxamum is indicated in the dietary management of phenylketonuria in children over 8 years of age, in adults and in pregnant women.

Use and doses

The diet must be supplemented with natural proteins and other nutrients in the quantities prescribed by the doctor to achieve the required needs.
The recommended dilution is 1 to 5 (for example 20g of XP Maxamum in 100ml of water). It is recommended to start with a concentration of 1 to 7 (for example 14.2g of XP Maxamum in 100ml of water) for osmotically sensitive patients.

Osmolality

• Dilution 1 to 5 = 1150 mosm / kg
• Dilution 1 to 7 = 800 mosm / kg

XP Maxamum can be taken as a drink or as a baby food; in this case, water or a permitted diluted drink must be consumed at the same time.

Important note

The powdered formula is not sterile so it is recommended, where possible, to prepare it immediately before administration and consume it within 1 hour.
If prepared in advance, refrigerate quickly at 2 to 4 ° C and consume within 24 hours. Shake well before use. Do not use the product after 24 hours from its preparation. Discard the reconstituted and unused product.
