The use of YABRO is indicated as an adjunct in the restoration and maintenance of the physiological conditions of the interstitium and of the pulmonary mucous membranes altered in chronic bronchial inflammation, such as for example asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), but does not replace the drug therapy prescribed by the own Doctor.
It is indicated in the adjuvant treatment of upper respiratory tract diseases such as: tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, nasopharyngitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, tracheitis, both in the acute and chronic phase; hoarseness; inflammation of the vocal cords with and without dysphonia; in improving the restoration of mucosal function in the post-operative phase of endonasal interventions. YABRO® is added to and does not replace other therapeutic treatments that may be prescribed to patients.

Yabro 9mg contains Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid Sodium Salt) , Water, Sodium Chloride.

Hyaluronic acid is universally recognized as the main molecular component of the extracellular matrix. In the respiratory system it is synthesized by the fibroblasts of the nasopharynx and the pulmonary interstitium, by the glands of the tracheo-bronchial submucosa, and by the goblet cells of the lining epithelium that add it to the mucus that covers and protects the respiratory tract. Thanks to this distribution, hyaluronic acid plays a central role in respiratory physiology by intervening in multiple homeostatic mechanisms. Hyaluronic acid administered by aerosol quickly penetrates and integrates into the pulmonary interstitium, preventing the spread of macromolecules and regulating the migration of cell populations involved in inflammatory reactions. Its high hydrophilicity also allows to hydrate the entire respiratory tree, facilitating the removal of catabolites and allergens.
Thanks to its ability to integrate into the glycoprotein component that covers the pre-respiratory mucosa, it intervenes in the regulation of ciliary mucus dearance by interfering with potential disturbing allergenic or inflammatory, environmental or endogenous factors.

DOSAGE

We recommend 1 ampoule of 3 ml per day as an adjunct in periods of decreased respiratory function.
In affections of the upper respiratory tract, inflammation of the vocal cords and in improving post-operative endonasal functional recovery, 1 vial of 3 ml is recommended once or twice a day according to medical advice, for a period of not less than 2 weeks.

METHOD OF USE

In the treatment of chronic bronchial inflammation and vocal cords:
Open the single-dose vial by breaking the neck along the highlighted line;
Pour the contents of the vial into the nebulizer ampoule;
Nebulize the contents of a vial using a suitable aerosol therapy device;
We recommend using appliances equipped with a compressor capable of guaranteeing a high output flow capacity (indicative value of at least 0.40 ml / minute);
Do not use ultrasound equipment;
Depending on the type of device used, the complete nebulization of a vial can take from 15 to 40 minutes.

As an adjunct to upper respiratory tract diseases and in the restoration of mucosal function in the post-operative phase of endonasal interventions:

Open the single-dose vial by breaking the neck along the highlighted line;
Pour the contents of the YABRO® vial and the vial of physiological solution into the ampoule of the nebulizer;
Nebulize the solution using a suitable aerosol therapy device. It is advisable to equip the aerosol device with the appropriate nasal shower accessory;
We recommend using appliances equipped with a compressor capable of guaranteeing a high output flow capacity (indicative value of at least 0.40 ml / minute);
Do not use ultrasound equipment;
Nebulization of the YABRO® vial together with the saline vial through the nasal douche can take from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

WARNINGS

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.
Do not use if the packaging is open or damaged.
Do not re-sterilize, it is intended for single use only.
Do not reuse to avoid any risk of contamination.
Store between 0 ° and 25 ° C. Do not freeze.
Once opened it must be used immediately and discarded after use.
Smoking compromises the protective effect of hyaluronic acid on alveolar functionality.
Additional treatment and does not replace other treatments prescribed by your doctor.
