OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION IN BOTTLE

Indications:
humidifies and lubricates the ocular surface and reduces the risk of tear film instability.
Although it has no pharmacological effect, it protects the corneal epithelium from possible damage caused by:
- adverse climatic and environmental conditions such as wind, cold, sun, salt, air conditioning, smoke, smog, fine dust;
- particular conditions of ophthalmic stress due to the use of contact lenses or prolonged work at the video terminals or microscope.
Useful when in particular conditions or following the intake of certain drugs, it reduces lacrimation such as in menopause and during the treatment of diabetes.

Dosage and method of use:
instill, when needed, even several times a day, one or two drops for each eye, letting them fall from above and avoiding that the bottle touches the eyelashes or the ocular surface.

Characteristics:
isotonic solution that contains sodium hyaluronate (0.2%) and salts (magnesium, potassium, etc.).

Warnings:
for external use only.
It should not be used immediately before the administration of curative medications, and within 5 minutes after the application of any topical drug therapy.
Do not use in conjunction with contact lens fitting.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components or other substantially correlated from a chemical point of view.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Keep out of reach of children.

Side effects:
in rare cases a slight blurring of vision has been observed upon instillation, which is due to the viscosity of the solution. This feeling, however, disappears very quickly.
In some rare cases, intolerance (burning sensation and / or irritation) may occur.
The persistence of symptoms could be caused by the presence of the preservative. In this case, it is advisable to contact your ophthalmologist.
Compliance with the instructions contained in the package leaflet reduces the risk of unwanted effects.

Components:
100 ml of solution contain:
sodium hyaluronate 0.2g; sodium chloride; magnesium chloride; potassium chloride; sodium phosphatomonobasic; dibasic sodium phosphate, trisodium citrate; thimerosal; ppi water

Expiry and Retention:
it must be stored at a temperature between 2 ° C and 25 ° C.
The solution should be used within 4 weeks of first opening the bottle, after which time discard any residue.
