OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION IN VIALS

Indications:
humidifies and lubricates the ocular surface and reduces the risk of tear film instability.
Although it has no pharmacological effect, it protects the corneal epithelium from possible damage caused by:
- adverse climatic and environmental conditions such as wind, cold, sun, salt, air conditioning, smoke, smog, fine dust;
- particular conditions of ophthalmic stress due to the use of contact lenses or prolonged work at the video terminals or microscope.
Useful when in particular conditions or following the intake of certain drugs, it reduces lacrimation such as in menopause and during the treatment of diabetes.

Dosage and method of use:
- to reduce the risk of product contamination during use, it is advisable to open the aluminum bag only in case of immediate subsequent use.
- Detach a single bottle from the strip.
- To open it, remove the upper flap by turning it, taking care to place it on a clean surface, so that it can be reused for the subsequent closure of the bottle.
- Instill one or two drops for each eye, letting them fall from the top and avoiding the bottle touching the eyelashes or the ocular surface.
- Close the bottle by inserting the flap.

Characteristics:
isotonic solution that contains sodium hyaluronate (0.2%) and salts (magnesium, potassium, etc.).

Warnings:
for external use only.
It should not be used immediately before the administration of curative medications, and within 5 minutes after the application of any topical drug therapy.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components or other substantially correlated from a chemical point of view.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Keep out of reach of children.

Side effects:
in rare cases a slight blurring of vision has been observed upon instillation, which is due to the viscosity of the solution. This feeling, however, disappears very quickly.
It is possible to occur, in some rare cases, of intolerance (burning sensation and / or irritation), however without consequence, which does not require modification of the treatment.
Compliance with the instructions contained in the package leaflet reduces the risk of unwanted effects.

Components:
100 ml of solution contain:
sodium hyaluronate 0.2g; sodium chloride; magnesium chloride; potassium chloride; sodium phosphatomonobasic; dibasic sodium phosphate, trisodium citrate; thimerosal; ppi water

Expiry and Retention:
it must be stored at a temperature between 2 ° C and 25 ° C.
Each container is resealable, thus allowing repeated administration of the solution which, however, being free of preservatives, must be used within 24 hours of first opening.

Format:
20 reclosable vials of 0.6 ml.
