Zymecol ™ Wilco Farma Food Supplement
Medical food for special purposes, indicated for the dietary treatment of subjects with inflammatory processes affecting the colon for the recovery of the correct functionality of the mucosa, based on sodium butyrate, niacin and tindalised Lactobacillus acidophilus.
Butyric acid is rapidly absorbed in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract.
To allow sodium butyrate to reach the intestinal tract, Zymecol tablets have been coated with a gastro-resistant film composed of a mixture of diethylcellulose, ammonium hydroxide, medium-chain triglycerides, oleic acid, sodium alginate and stearic acid.
The percentage increase of the film and the percentage ratio between sodium alginate and ethylcellulose allow to modulate the release of the active ingredients in the desired gastrointestinal tract.

How to use
The daily dose of Zymecol should be established and supervised by the doctor. As a guideline, it is recommended to take 1 to 2 tablets a day in 2 separate administrations, morning and evening, on an empty stomach.
The tablets should be swallowed whole, one at a time, accompanied by a sufficient quantity of water.
Do not break the tablets in order not to compromise the integrity of the gastro-resistant coating.

Indicated for the diet of people suffering from irritable colon.
